Easter falls on April 20 this year, and Frisco has more egg hunts and family events planned than we’ve ever tracked. Here’s the full rundown with dates, addresses, and what to expect so you can plan ahead.
Kaleidoscope Park Easter Egg Hunt — April 4
Where: Kaleidoscope Park, 6635 Warren Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034 When: Saturday, April 4 (time TBA — check City of Frisco Parks & Rec closer to the date) Cost: $10 per child Ages: Toddler through elementary
The City of Frisco’s annual Easter event returns to Kaleidoscope Park with a large-scale egg hunt across the park grounds, photos with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts stations, and visits with live rabbits. This is one of the most popular family events of the spring — past years have drawn several thousand people. Arriving 30–45 minutes early is strongly recommended for parking and to secure a good spot near the hunt zones.
Kaleidoscope Park’s colorful art installations and wide open green spaces make it the perfect setting for this kind of event. If you’ve never been to the park itself, it’s worth a visit any time of year.

Elevate Life Church — 100,000 Egg Hunt + Drone Light Show — April 19
Where: Elevate Life Church, 8500 Teel Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034 When: Saturday, April 19 (Easter Eve) — doors open at 5:00 PM Cost: FREE Ages: All ages welcome
This is the big one. Elevate Life Church is going all out with 100,000 eggs scattered across their sprawling campus, plus a 250-drone light show after sunset. They’re also bringing bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, a petting zoo, and live music. It’s part Easter celebration, part community festival.
The drone show alone makes this worth the trip — 250 synchronized drones creating formations in the night sky is the kind of thing you usually have to go to a major city event to see. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for the best viewing.
Parking fills up fast at events this size, so carpooling or arriving early is a good call. The church campus is large but this event draws people from well beyond Frisco.
Easter Sunday Services — April 20
Most Frisco churches hold special Easter Sunday services, many with extended programming for families. A few notable ones:
Elevate Life Church — Multiple Easter morning services at 8500 Teel Pkwy. They typically run additional service times on Easter to accommodate demand. Check their website for the schedule.
Prestonwood Baptist Church (Prosper Campus) — While technically in Prosper, the campus at 1001 W Prosper Trail is just minutes from north Frisco and draws heavily from the Frisco community. They run large-scale Easter productions with live music, drama, and kids programming. prestonwood.org
Stonebriar Community Church — 4801 Legendary Dr, Frisco. Led by Chuck Swindoll, Stonebriar holds Easter services with traditional music and programming for all ages. One of the more established congregations in Frisco. stonebriar.org
Hope Fellowship Church — Multiple campuses in the area, with the Frisco campus at 3601 Preston Rd. Contemporary services with dedicated kids environments. hopefellowship.net
More Church Egg Hunts & Community Events
Several other Frisco churches host their own egg hunts in the weeks before Easter. These tend to be smaller and more neighborhood-focused, which means shorter lines and a more relaxed vibe. Most are free and open to the community regardless of church membership.
Keep an eye on these churches’ websites and social media pages — many don’t announce their Easter events until 2–3 weeks beforehand:
- First Baptist Church Frisco — 7901 Main St, Frisco. Typically hosts an egg hunt and family carnival.
- Chase Oaks Church (Legacy Campus) — 281 Legacy Dr, Plano (right on the Frisco/Plano border). Large campus with community Easter events.
- Christ Fellowship Church — Often hosts egg hunts at their Frisco location with games and inflatables.
Tips for Easter Weekend in Frisco
Book brunch now. Frisco’s popular brunch spots fill up weeks ahead of Easter. If you’re planning to eat out after church, make reservations as soon as possible. The restaurants along The Star and Frisco Square are especially busy.
Layer up. April weather in North Texas can swing from 55°F to 85°F in the same week. Dress in layers, especially for outdoor egg hunts in the morning.
Bring your own basket. Most egg hunts expect kids to bring their own bags or baskets. Dollar stores in Frisco stock up on Easter supplies starting in March.
Check for updates. Events can shift dates or times as Easter approaches. We’ll update this article as new information comes in, and you can also check our Events Calendar for the latest.
